LiveWas looking for more flexibility to set up the process, with a partner that develops quickly from practice.
Tomeco mainly grows tomatoes on six sites, spread over two owners, with its own packing site. Three foremen work at the first pilot site: one on harvesting and two on crop work, each in their own greenhouse.
Priva provides pace, hours and output. Quality checks often differed per foreman. There was already a checking method, but it wasn't user-friendly enough, nor was the way the data was eventually shown good enough to steer on.
Quality per worker, set alongside speed. One uniform way of scoring so you can easily compare workers with each other and improve.
Underneath was a second wish. Tomeco is happy with its path registration, but noticed a much greater need to build ideas or adjustments around its existing business process. Each site usually works slightly differently, and you only get that uniform if a system can be shaped to your own way of working.
When GrowPilot came by, it stood out as a young company in full development. For management that was the deciding factor: get in at the moment you still have influence on what gets built.
Connected to Priva. The first site has been running since July 2026. Quality and speed are rated per worker on a scale of 1 to 5. For now everyone is checked twice a week; once the whole team is used to the new way of working this will be increased. The frequency for experienced workers is set differently. The foremen do the checks, the labour manager discusses the results weekly with the team. The checklist module runs alongside and the tasks module will be set up over time.
In six weeks a lot of feedback came back from Tomeco and most of it was implemented right away. Such as photos at a checkpoint, so a worker sees the colour scale instead of having to read about it. Dashboard improvements, so direction can be given very precisely from the data. Checking from a row or from the trolley, without having to pick a name first. And many more points.
The rollout follows the crop changes site by site. The next one is planned around mid-September, the last sites go live around the turn of the year. The bonus module is now being built, with a calculation that is fully configurable.
We give a short demo so you can see whether your greenhouse can be lifted to a higher level too. Or sit in on the online session first, together with other growers.
